It’s taken me a while to sort through the photos and get this post written due in large part to having my laptop crash and, despite all attempts to restore it, having to buy and set up a new one. So, apologies to all for the delays.
This year about 20 of my tai chi players came together at Greenfields Park in Wanneroo to play tai chi in lovely weather and to celebrate the World Tai Chi Day motto of “One World, One Breath“. I think I can confidently say that it was a great experience for everyone who attended and we all look forward to doing it again next year.
Once again we joined with Tai Chi for All for a morning of sharing our different forms of tai chi and taking part in the wave of tai chi that rolls around the world on World Tai Chi Day.
You can see a few of the photos, and a short video, of the day, below.
Hear what others had to say about the day:
My second World Tai Chi day, such a pleasure to join others on this day.Robyn, Banksia Grove
Being part of a group of special people, such a wonderful experience.
Really enjoyed joining in with all the other players. Apprehensive at first, doubting whether I should go, but pleased with the outcome.Anne, Greenwood
I also made a long overseas connection when facebook postings came in from America and England, with a group of recognisable faces from my sixties school days in Nottingham UK.
Since joining Deb Marriner Tai Chi classes 1 year ago I really enjoy the exercise, commitment and friendship I have found and am passionate on learning and mastering more forms. Participating in The World Tai Chi Day felt very connected joining with others and being part of a world event.Gaye, Burns Beach
